Reunion for iPhone and iPod touch Updated to Version 1.0.1

by Ben Sayer on 28 Apr 2009

The first update to the Reunion for iPhone genealogy software became available in the iTunes App Store yesterday. According to the company, they addressed “most of the outstanding issues.” They added localizations—geek speak for adding languages for menus and such—for Dutch and French. They also listed the following changes:

  • Added “x of y” numbering when displaying pictures, where x is the current picture and y is the total number of pictures linked to a person.
  • Editing of Phone, Fax, email and URL fields in Address section of Person Info window now works properly.
  • Moved Soundex out of the Person Info window to the family card as an optional field.

Load up iTunes and get your update!

I tried searching the iTunes apps and all I get is newer Reunion, not an update. Do I have to pay $14.99 again?

How do you up date or download or find the new version of this application.

Hi, Jennie.

Use iTunes to get and install the updated version. Click on the “Applications” library, then on “Check for Updates” in the lower right corner. That should find the updated version. You can click on the update button to get it then sync your iPod touch.
